José, UX Researcher and Designer, is a curious individual who tries to make sense of the world he lives in. He researches humans to survive. A newcomer to the internet freedom space, José has explored research in physical security, circumvention, and internet shutdowns.

A celebration of contributors!
Rachel Marie created Orbot’s mascot, Orbie, in 2022. Tiffany Robertson collaborated on creative measurement and evaluation frameworks for digital security training for Internews. Grant Willingham designed the Clean Insights coffee and tea labels for the Guardian Project. Grant has collaborated with Okthanks to bring many brands to life, including Circulo and Convene. Ben Irwin led copywriting for the Okthanks brand. Happy Ongi led research among journalists and activists in Uganda for Circulo. Tawanda Mugari and his team partner with us on a Go Bag for Internet Shutdowns.
