We work at the intersection between the possibility technology brings and the lived experience of people, collaborating both with engineers and change-makers. We pull local experience into the process at every step. We spend more of our time listening than anything else, to better understand the challenges people face and the tools they need.

An idea can come from anywhere—or anyone. Activists, advocates, technologists, designers, you. Open tech demands open design. We are insatiably curious. We’re relentlessly adaptive, experimenting and adapting as we go—mining the full potential of each idea.

We Believe in a Future

We’re designing for a world where people can share information with each other and work for change in their communities without reprise. Open technology the possibility for connection, movement, and transformation. The possibility for whole societies to change—to become freer and more open.
