Call for Participants: Research on Offline Tech for Activism

Okthanks and Briar are exploring the use of offline tech to support activism and journalism in low-connectivity and shutdown-prone areas.

We're seeking individuals who:

  • Have experience coordinating activism or civil society work in off-grid environments or where internet access is limited

  • Live or work in a region prone to internet shutdowns (optional)

Study Details:

  • Dates: March-May 2025

  • Participation will include 1 virtual interview and an optional workshop

  • Participants will receive $80 per session
